Shorey is a WeReady Labs project, shaped by people sharing what they see along our shoreline. Contributors keep ownership of their photos and observations. WeReady Labs’ copyright notice covers Shorey’s original design and content, not everyone else’s work.

Beach information

Forecasts and community observations are different kinds of information. Each beach page shows source details and dates; facilities are guide listings, not live confirmation that a service is open.

Reference and visitor-guide sources remain linked with the relevant beach information. External webcam views are hosted by IWCP ↗. Their availability and use are governed by the provider.

Maps

Maps use OpenStreetMap contributors’ data ↗, displayed with MapLibre ↗. Terrain tiles are credited to Mapzen and AWS Open Data. The map’s own attribution controls remain available.

Reference photographs

These photographs introduce a place; they do not show today’s conditions. Author and licence credits also appear with the reference photo on its beach page. Display copies may be resized or cropped to fit the layout; the source page carries the original and licence information.
